Driving through Cameroon with stops in Limbé, Kribi, and the capital Yaounde. Mud roads, brand new highways, waterfalls, and a botanic garden. We spend a lof of money on the last visas for the trip, and the group has some problems with robberies.

Spending some time on the Ghanaian coast swimming in the ocean, a.k.a. the local people's toilet, visiting the Unesco-listed slave forts, and getting some more visas in Accra.

Checking out Burkina Faso. We're experiencing a traditional Burkinabé funeral, trying out the nightlife in Bobo-Dioulasso, getting another visa, and I get to sit on a wild crocodile!

We're spending a week in Bamako, the capital of Mali, to explore the city and get some more visas. We went on a river cruise, and I almost got my phone confiscated for taking photos.

Entering Mauritania by driving through a car cemetery. An expensive visa, but at least it could be acquired directly at the border. In Mauritania we watched endangered monk seals and visited the busiest fish market in West Africa.
