Overlanding Africa, Morocco to South Africa, and where else to start such a trip but in Iceland. This is where I'm travelling with a group of 15 other people, for 6 months, in an old Bedford truck, through ~20 different countries.

Time to head back to work in Sweden after almost eight months and ~20 visited countries. Only a quick stop in Cape Town remains before a long flight home. Emirates upgraded me to business class though, so the flight wasn't too bad.

Almost two weeks around Victoria Falls with Andreas, checking out the falls from both the Zambia side and the Zimbabwe side and going on a safari in Botswana. This is the last part of the trip so time to spend the last bit of the budget. We're doing pretty much all the tourist things they have except for a helicopter ride.

I'm driving parts of the Garden Route together with Andreas and Ryan. Along the route we make several stops for shark cage diving, a local microbrewery, watching penguins, lots of great views, and a bungy jump

The truck breaks down, but after a days work it's running again. We visit an old ghost town, Fishriver Canyon, and make it all the way down to Cape Town. The trip is now officially over.

Driving through the Namib desert and along the Skeleton Coast, visiting Swakopmund and Windhoek. We go on a quad bike tour on the sand dunes outside of Swakopmund, and visit some of the largest sand dunes in the world in Sossusvlei.

Driving through Angola towards the Namibian border with a stop in Lubango to see their Hollywood sign and Jesus statue. In Namibia we spend a few days on a Safari in Etosha National Park

Enjoying a beach pretty much to ourselves in N'zeto, having a look around Luanda including a stop at the beautiful Valley of the Moon, and drinking cold beer on the beach in Lobito. We're also going deep-sea fishing.

To make it to Angola before our visa expires we drive through Gabon, Congo, and DRC in two weeks. This is when we cross the equator and also the Congo River.

Driving through Cameroon with stops in Limbé, Kribi, and the capital Yaounde. Mud roads, brand new highways, waterfalls, and a botanic garden. We spend a lof of money on the last visas for the trip, and the group has some problems with robberies.
