Empty Hostels and Full Hostels

Visiting Encarnacion, Paraguay, where I'm almost alone everywhere, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I, for the first time this trip, have to book a hostel in advance as they're pretty much fully booked, and for one of the nights even overbooked. I'm visiting, among other things, old ruins, colourful neighbourhoods, and a pretty impressive cemetery.

A Lot of Water

New Years in Cairo

My friend Andreas and I decided to go to Cairo, Egypt, over New Years as both of us wanted to see the Pyramids. The Pyramids are pretty impressive, but it turns out the best thing about Cairo is to hang around downtown and drink tea and smoke shisha like the locals do.

Portugal with Mom

I'm spending a week in Portugal with Mom, driving from Faro to Lisbon with several stops on the south coast for some time on the beach and to see some caves. Then we spend a few days in Lisbon, as well as a few days around Sintra seeing one of my bucket list places, the Quinta da Regaleira.
